Applying to college is a stressful time in everyone’s lives. Something to make it all worth it are the acceptance packages that you receive in the mail that’s full of all kind’s of goodies. For this project, by using Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator, I created a folder, first week activity sheet, acceptance letter, wall banner, and three sticker designs. This project was the first one I did where I had to explore brands standards in order to create a cohesive look that was appropriate for their branding. Brand standards are what makes each business, school, person, or whatever else it may be unique. What challenge I had while designing these pieces was knowing when it was okay to use what element. It was hard to know when I could freely create a pattern or color, and when It wasn’t okay. Overall this project was a great way to get familiar with helping universities and other clients with future branding.
